After a leisurely morning in Las Vegas, we headed east towards the Grand Canyon. We stopped off at the Hoover Dam on the way. No matter how many times you see it, it's still a pretty impressive creation. The bridge seen in the above picture is new and under construction and will take all but visitor traffic away from the US93.It straddles the mighty Colorado River and also the two states of Nevada and Arizona and it was mighty hot today.
